For this week I wanted to capture the serious attitude of my cat and brother. They both put on very their "means bussiness" faces and let me take a bunch of pictures of them. I learned that sometimes you don't need color to express the meaning of certain things. I feel as if I captured exactly how my subjects felt even without color

This week we were told to find a photo shop tutorial that would challenge our minds and then create a replica I learned how to add my creativity into my photo shop work and how to challenge myself to try to make something that I would not normally do.
For this project we had to take an image and photoshop some other images into it. I chose to stick with a water theme with some different cool elements. This week we again had to pick a topic from our list. I chose still life and I thought that my fairy garden would be perfect for this topic. I wanted to capture how still it looks and how legend says they come to life at night. Hard to beilieve that when these pictures make the town seem almost ghost like. This week I learned how you can alter an image to make it look exactly how you want. personally I was going for a 'ghost town' vibe but you can make an image do what you want with lighting and photoshop skills
For this assignment we have to take a series of pictures with our camera placed on a tripod. We had to take at least five pictures in a line and edit them in photoshop so they would look like one long continuous picture. This assignment taught me to use editing skills to expand my photos and better showcase landscapes
This week we had to pick a topic from a list of topics provided I learned that if you really look you can find beauty in everything
For this assignment we had to photoshop a car to perfection. This consisted of blacking out the background, darkening the image, tinting the windshield and blurring out some of the reflection on the car. I learned some valuable skills this week within the photoshop tool. I learned how to make the background exactly how I want it and also how to make an image more intense by brightening it up or sometimes darkening it.
For this assignment we were told to pick a topic from a list of topics. I chose animals since my house is full of them! I have a dog, a cat, a lizard, a tortoise and a fish. Almost all of them were represented in these photos. This was our first big Monday assignment and it was a lot of fun! I learned during this assignment that each subject is different and while you can try to make them do exactly what you want, it's so much better when you just wait for them to be them selves. You can always tell if a picture is staged or not. Personally I love to find the pictures that look like they were not so staged and were fun to take and be apart of.
